Jon and Lisa are a husband and wife lo-fi alternative/indie jam band from Murphy, NC. Their music is influenced by heavy blues, rock, folk, gospel, and a laundry list of other genres. Especially the musical world of the instrumental and psychedelic rock underground from the 1960's, such as very early Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Iron Butterfly, Marc Bolan and T Rex, among many others.
Their 2008 album Uncharted Currents is an eleven track alternative/indie song collection. It is highly influenced by Mississippi delta blues, and early Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, and was recorded over a ten year period between 1998 and 2007.
